Citrus Sunday

SAN FERNANDO VALLEY, CALIFORNIA -- Local residents are being asked to pick citrus fruit from their trees (up to three days in advance), wash them, and on April 6th bring them in plastic bags to one of several Fire Stations that will serve as drop off locations.

Last year the community donated tens of thousands of pounds of oranges, grapefruit, and lemons that were distributed to needy families through the food banks.
